First Coastal Homes, Inc. was formed out of a desire to build homes that emphasize Quality above all else. This is the passion of Company founder, Brian Eckstein. Brian recognizes emerging technology in Mechanical Systems, Wall Systems, Roofing, Flooring, Appliances, Fixtures, Cabinets, Doors and Windows. Low cost per square foot is not the goal, rather reasonable cost for less square foot that is extremely high quality. By rethinking the house, First Coastal Homes is focused on not only staying informed, but also on employing the best techniques to offer a house that is unparalleled in quality.

Our design and construction philosophy is: Build each project so that it will last with little maintenance. Respect St. Augustine's rich history while taking advantage of Modern Technology. Comfort and Detail in a room is emphasized above the size of the space.

Brian has a background in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of Pittsburgh. He was hand selected by a Land Engineering company for assistance with drafting and surveying due to achievements in Architecture.

Brian intends to expand his practical influence on the local Residential Contracting marketplace. Each home built will be directly overseen by Brian both from a physical and intellectual perspective. This approach will assure both the structural integrity and the unequalled character sought by First Coastal Homes.
